Program Details
Overview
The 3+2 Program recruits topnotch undergraduate students to UC San Diego starting in their fourth year of undergraduate studies. Students will first enroll as non-degree-seeking undergraduate students, and course credits completed during their first year at UC San Diego will be for fulfilling their Bachelor’s Degree (awarded by the student’s home institution). For their second year, students will enroll as M.S. students at UC San Diego, upon verification of their Bachelor’s Degree and after satisfying all requirements set forth by the Department of Structural Engineering and UC San Diego. Students who successfully complete the 3+2 Program will earn a Master’s Degree from UC San Diego and may apply for admittance to a Ph.D. program.
Eligibility
Apply in the 3rd year of their undergraduate studies
3.25 GPA based on a 4.0 scale (UPDATED)
TOEFL iBT of 85, PBT of 550, or IELTS of 7
Statement of purpose
Two letters of recommendation
